Frequently Asked Questions: Camps and Clinics

GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Q: Do I have to be a member of FC Dallas Youth Club to attend?

A: Not at all. Camps are open to any player, regardless of club affiliation, who is interested in improving their skills and developing proper techniques that will help development.

Q: Do participants need to bring a lunch?

A: Yes, each player needs to bring his/her own lunch/snacks. FC Dallas does not provide lunch/snacks, only pertains to all day camps.

Q: Do participants need to bring their own water?

A: Yes, players need to bring their own water bottle to drink from. Drinking stations will be at each location and water will always be available.

Q: What should I bring the training program and what should I wear?

A: Players should bring shin guards, soccer cleats, and footwear appropriate for use on a turf surface. Each player must also have a parent or guardian sign the waiver and release form prior to participating in the program.

Q: Is your training program for boys only?

A: No, all of our training programs are for both boys and girls.

Q: Is there any specialized goalkeeper training?

A:  If we have enough pre register with the keeper position on the registration page. We will offer specific keeper training during the camp. If we don’t have enough keepers then your child will participate in the regular camp program.

Q: How do I register?

A: Please go to the Camp Registration Page.

Q: What if I am having trouble or experiencing technical difficulty while registering online?

A: If you are having trouble or experiencing any difficulty, please call (214) 502-1561, or email director@fcdallassouth.com

Q: If it rains will the training program be cancelled?

A: No, unless weather conditions become too dangerous. Some of the programs are held on fields that are capable of handling rain. Parents will be able to check the camp page on the site for information.

Q: What happens if I get sick or injured and cannot attend, do I get a refund?

A: Please review the Registration Policy on the application form
